Our History

The Firm was registered as a partnership in 1987 as Victor Ndoma-Egba & Co and commenced business at Fiekong Estate, No. 60 Marian Road Extension, Calabar. Cross River State Nigeria in the month of May the same year; with Victor-NdomaEgba as Principal and Richard David Ebri of blessed memory as Associate. Following Richard David Ebri being made Partner in 1991, the name of the Firm was changed to Ndoma-Egba. Ebri & Co and Practice moved from Fiekong Estate to a more spacious location at No. 201 Marian Road. Today, the Firm operates from her own property – Victory Gate – strategically located at No. 201, Barracks Road also in Calabar and 2 Garba Nadama Close, Zone E, Apo Legislative Quarters, Abuja. In January 2003 Messrs George Nching Neji (died September 28, 2010), Fatun Odohi Riman, (now a Federal High Court Judge) and Akpan Umo Ekam were admitted as Partners whilst Mrs. Arit Ansa-Eno, Offisong Etim Unoh and Oladimeji Olugbeminiyi Adebayo were admitted as partners in January 2016, but the firm retained her name and identity as Ndoma-Egba, Ebri & Co. despite the unfortunate and sudden demise of Richard David Ebri on 28 January 1999. His memory and legacy of excellence remain an underlying inspiration to the firm and its traditions.
